On May 11 and 12, 2024, the “Communalist Social Ecology Association, “L’Adventice”” was created in Cordes sur Ciel (Tarn-France), driven by the informal Social and Communalist Ecology Network. This is an evolution ensuring the commitment of each and every one of us in order to develop, by all means at our disposal, social ecology and its communalist project.
With this in mind, our association takes up the proposals of the Roadmap of the former E.S.C. Network and wants to address all people and organizations fighting against domination, injustice, exclusion and exploitation, useless projects,… ; but also to all those involved in attempts at concrete alternatives, so that together we can consider and develop consistent strategies that are in touch with reality.
Our horizon is to go beyond capitalism and its relay, the State – even though the insoluble contradictions of this deadly ideology have made it a new religion and a global terrorism, on a planetary scale. Which implies for us a necessarily internationalist approach.
At the same time, the association has equipped itself with a internet site with the objective of exposing the bases of social ecology in its diversity as well as the foundations of the communalist project. Designed under the principle of a Workshop in constant research, this site invites all determined people aware of the vital stakes of the present moment, to participate in this development of a collective intelligence for an authentically emancipatory strategy.
Despite the urgency of the times, we must avoid rushing, to remain particularly attentive to the conditions that are ours, in a context that is by nature hostile to us, to avoid any regressive slide and unconscious collaboration with this neo-society that surrounds us. To initiate a pole which is jointly a real force of resistance and initiatives, made of diversity, intelligence in all areas of life while maintaining a capacity for action: these are the bases that we are laying with this association.
