Workshop: Research & perspectives

Welcome to “Atelier : Recherche et perspectives”, a space for reflection and exchange dedicated to social ecology and communalism. This virtual workshop is a place of openness, part of a process of collective exploration to rethink our ways of life and self-management outside state and capitalist structures. We invite you to discover, explore and debate ways of changing towards a society based on mutual aid, solidarity, non-hierarchy and direct democracy.

Social ecology, inspired by the work of Murray Bookchin, and communalism aim to reorganize society around autonomous communities that respect living beings and the environment, breaking with the logics of exploitation and domination. Our ambition is to question the current model and open up concrete perspectives for a transition to a fairer, more sustainable system.

Within this workshop, each article published is an opportunity for dialogue: your comments enrich the ideas presented and help advance our common reflection. At the same time, the forum offers an open space for expression, where everyone is invited to share their experiences, discuss local initiatives and take part in discussions on collective projects.

We believe that it is through these exchanges and collaborations that solutions for a more equitable and ecological society can emerge. Whether you’re here to propose, question or simply get informed, you have a role to play in this collective dynamic. Together, let’s explore the possibilities for redesigning our present, and therefore our future.

As a Workshop, we don’t pretend to have the answers to everything: we raise issues and ask questions, thus drawing on our collective intelligence. For us, it’s also a way of combating ideological entrenchment.
